Introduction: The MSTA1.0SWISS
Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer is a high-precision offline analysis
instrument developed by Beijing Neuronbc. This instrument utilizes electrical
conductivity difference detection technology and the principle of ultraviolet
(UV) catalytic oxidation, delivering high accuracy with a short response time.
The MSTA1.0SWISS fully complies with national pharmacopoeia standards, making
it suitable for offline testing of deionized water, including
pharmaceutical-grade water such as injection water, purified water, and
ultrapure water.
Operation
Principle:
The analyzer works by oxidizing organic compounds in the sample using a UV
lamp, converting them into carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide is then detected
using the direct conductivity method. The total organic carbon (TOC) value is
calculated as the difference between the total carbon (TC) concentration of the
sample post-oxidation and the total inorganic carbon (TIC) concentration of the
sample before oxidation:
